LEXI WEBSTER (she/they) is a Black, queer, non-binary photographer living in Brooklyn whose work aims to bear witness to Black queer and trans* folks in our many ways of being.
They use the medium of photography, a historically patriarchal and colonial practice, to create a space of healing and liberation for Black queer and trans folks. Their work sees us empowered, thriving, and ultimately existing as our full selves in our respective archives. Eschewing images of pain, trauma, and scarcity, she strives to capture authentic images saturated with the joy, care, love (of the self and others), and abundance in her communities.
Their clients include SavagexFenty, Bombas, Daylight Money, Waeve, Arraygency, We Are Fluide, For the Gworls, The Okra Project, and 305 Fitness. Their work has appeared in Vogue Magazine, PAPER Magazine (1, 2), Dazed Beauty, Office Magazine, them.us, Photobook Magazine, and more.
They can be contacted directly for booking, collaborative projects, commercial work, or to inquire about purchasing prints at photos@lexiwebsterphoto.com.
